The vehicle starts automatically and can begin heating or cooling the cabin according to the climate-control settings.

• Can I start the vehicle using the original BMW key?

Yes. On a successfully activated and compatible vehicle, the engine can be started by pressing the lock button three times.

• Does the service require additional hardware?

The activation itself does not require an aftermarket remote-start module. An ENET cable and Windows laptop are normally required for remote installation.

• Is an ECU unlock required?

This depends on the exact vehicle configuration and activation method. FlashXCode checks the vehicle before accepting the order and confirms the required procedure.

• Does it work on diesel vehicles?

BMW Remote Engine Start is generally intended for compatible petrol or gasoline vehicles. Diesel vehicles are not normally supported by this service.
